Avila to Build 35th Passive House in the US

As climate change becomes a greater issue world wide, and with energy costs rising, consumers are beginning to seek the most energy efficient technology when building homes. Recently, Avila was awarded a project which entails the construction of a duplex style passive house. According to the Passive House Institute of the US, this duplex will be the thirty fifth passive house in the US. The passive house requires sophisticated construction, with an emphasis on insulation techniques, and cutting edge solar and heating systems. Despite the distinctly different construction the passive houses require, they look just like a conventionally built home or building, making them appealing to many consumers interested in energy conservation. Avila Construction is excited to be one of the groundbreaking contractors in the US building passive houses.
