OSHPD-1 Site Superintendent


Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee daily job-site work, including but not limited to quality control, safety program implementation/injury prevention, monitoring of subcontractors and Avila carpenters and laborers.

  • Work in collaboration with the Project Manager to execute on and maintain a current schedule.

  • Schedule/ coordinate with subcontractors to ensure that the construction schedule is met or exceeded.

  • Proactively manage the project operations to ensure obstacles are noticed well ahead of when they may become an issue.

  • Ensure that proper as-built documentation is kept throughout the project.

  • Participate in recurring Owner/Team meetings in conjunction with the Project Manager

  • Provide highest level of service possible to Client/Owner as well as internal and external partners.

  • Other job duties as required to fulfill team goals

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills.

  • Strong knowledge of of commercial and OSHPD-1 construction required.

  • The high level of professionalism required to work in an occupied hospital. This job requires frequent interaction with hospital leadership and staff.

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and scheduling software required.

  • Bluebeam knowledge a big plus.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a big plus.

  • 7-10 years trade experience including five years as a superintendent OR a degree in related field with 5 years experience running work OR if you have previously run your own general contracting firm

  • Due to our frequent work on public school sites, Employees must pass a background check to satisfy Section 45125.1 of the Education Code. A violent felony as defined in subdivision (c) of Section 667.5 of the Penal Code will disqualify employees from being eligible to work on school sites.
